James Wright Jr. is the D.C. political reporter for the Washington Informer Newspaper. He has worked for the Washington AFRO-American Newspaper as a reporter, city editor and freelance writer and The Washington Post as a copy editor, in addition to reporting for the Informer. Working as a journalist in D.C. for 30-years, Wright has interviewed foreign leaders such as Libya's Moammar Quadafi and South Africa's Thabo Mbeki as well as a number of U.S. Black political leaders. He has traveled to nations such as Libya, Afghanistan, Ghana, South Africa, Zimbabwe, the United Kingdom and Italy to do his work.
