Sycamore & Oak Holds Black Friday and Small Business Saturday Events

Sycamore & Oak, a marketplace in Ward 8 that features 13 brick-and-mortar businesses owned by African Americans, hosted Black Friday and Small Business Saturday events, allowing customers to support local businesses.

This holiday shopping season support for patronizing Black-owned businesses lags behind small business initiatives as an alternative to Black Friday shopping on the Internet.
