Dr. Samuel DeWitt Proctor, a pastor and former Peace Corps leader, delivered a sermon at the Children’s Defense Fund-Alex Haley Farm, urging those who have inherited benefits to help those who have inherited deficits, in order to ensure all children have the opportunity to thrive.
