National Park Service rangers, District Mayor Muriel Bowser, Del. Eleanor Holmes Norton, D.C. Council Chairman Phil Mendelson, and NCNW leaders gathered in Lincoln Park to celebrate Mary McLeod Bethune’s 149th birthday and the 50th anniversary of a statue honoring her life and legacy.
