Local Nonprofit Fights Summer Hunger with Food and Farm Fridays

Building Bridges Across the River’s Food and Farm Fridays provides low-income families in Washington, D.C. with fresh, locally grown vegetables, fruits, and herbs, as well as prepared meals, to address the issue of hunger in the District’s food deserts.
