Organizers Raise Jamil Al-Amin’s Name During Black August

Black August is a monthlong tradition dedicated to raising awareness about Black political prisoners, including Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin, who is currently serving a life sentence for the 2000 murder of a Fulton County sheriff’s deputy.
