Bousaina Ibrahim is a contributing writer to The Washington Informer. Bousaina, a daughter of Sudan, graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in December 2022 with a degree in journalism and African Studies. Her efforts in journalism are grounded in the historical preservation of indigenous and diasporic African culture and memory. She is currently earning her Master's in Data Science at Howard University and centers data journalism and digital humanities in her studies. In her free time, you can find Bousaina in nature or reading at Sankofa Videos Books Bookstore.
