Ed Hill Jr., a contributing sports writer with The Washington Informer, served as Howard University's director of communications from 1983-2017, earning recognition in the Howard University Athletics, Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, and College Sports Information Directors of America Halls of Fame. His career began as a sportswriter for The Washington Post and Winston-Salem Chronicle, transitioning to an influential role as an adjunct professor at Howard. Hill has penned over 5,000 sports stories and produced 500+ publications for Howard athletics. Honored in the Cardozo High School and Kingman Boys and Girls Club Halls of Fame for his community service, Hill was named a Made Man by the NAACP in 2019, mentoring many who have excelled in sports communication.

Mystics Open Second Half of the Season With Key Returnees

The Washington Mystics have won six games since the start of the season and are looking to build on this momentum with the return of two key players, Brittney Sykes and Shakira Austin, and the contributions of Ariel Atkins, Aaliyah Edwards, Stephanie Dolson, Karlie Samuelson, Julie Vanloo, Myisha Hines-Allen, Shatoria Williams-Kimbrough, and Melbourne.
